1. Payment

An order totaling $300 or less requires full payment to confirm the order. Payment must be paid as outlined in your order summary or will be subject to cancellation without credit. An option to pay a 50% non-refundable retainer to confirm the order is provided for an order over $300, with the remaining amount to be paid no later than three weeks from the selected pickup/delivery date, unless otherwise stated (such as for wedding, corporate functions, etc.).

2. Refund

You may cancel your order up to one month of your pickup/delivery date with eligibility for credit of the amount paid (less any supplies already purchased), unless otherwise stated. Eligibility for credit is up to the discretion of the cake artist and will be valid up to six months from the pickup/delivery date.

3. Allergies and Dietary Restrictions

The Nancy Bakes is not an allergy-free kitchen and contains common allergens such as nuts, soy, gluten, and dairy. All known allergies and dietary restrictions must be disclosed at the time of order but this will not guarantee your order will not come in contact with it. By placing an order with The Nancy Bakes you understand this and assume all risk and responsibility when ordering a cake and release The Nancy Bakes and its affiliates (cake artist) from all liability.

4. Design

The cake artist will work closely with you to make your vision of the cake come to life. However, specific designs and photos provided can not and will not be exactly replicated. Products and colours may vary due to supply available. You understand there may be differences to the final product. Any change requests to design is at the discretion of the cake artist and supplies available. Changes to the design will not be accepted within one week of  the pickup/delivery date.

 

5. Non-edible Items and Decorations

All non-edible items such as cake toppers, and decorations such as florals and greenery are advised to be taken off before serving and not meant to be consumed. The cake artist makes every effort to clean these items but you assume all risk and responsibility of any occurrences that result from it.

6. Photographs

The Nancy Bakes reserves the right to use and take photographs and videos for marketing and promotional purposes without compensation to you.

7. Viewing

The cake artist will be creating multiple orders for any given date. Please do not request pictures of your order prior to your pickup/delivery. However, the cake artist is happy to supply one after pickup/delivery at your request.

8. Responsibility and Care

The Nancy Bakes is not responsible for any damages that occur to your order once it leaves the cake artist's hands. It is your responsibility to ensure the proper care of your order. Care guidelines will be sent to you before your pickup/delivery date

 

9. Pickup

You will arrive to collect your order at the scheduled time agreed during payment. You will respect the time of the cake artist and arrive as scheduled or your order will be subject to cancellation or a storage fee as noted in "10. Storage" below. If someone is picking up your order on your behalf, you are responsible to provide them with the proper information including care guidelines and arriving on time.

10. Storage

Your order is to be picked up/delivered on the date and time set out on the agreed upon date or your order may be cancelled without credit or subject to a storage fee. Your order will be stored until the next available pickup day as determined by the cake artist.

11. Delivery

The Nancy Bakes will deliver to your requested address within the approximate time provided for delivery, subject to traffic and safe road conditions. It is your responsibility to ensure someone is home to physically collect your order from the delivery person. If The Nancy Bakes is unable to reach you or the individual at this address, your order will be left at the entrance of the address at your own risk.

12. Amendments

The Nancy Bakes reserves the right to make changes to the Terms and Conditions without notice.
