FAQ

How much do you charge?

Prices will vary as all cakes are custom and made to order. The inquiry form shows starting prices before flavour and customization. On average you can expect your 6" cake to be around $175 and your 8" cake to be around $200. The best way to inquire is to fill out the order form so the cake artist receives the necessary information to quote you. If you are attaching a photo, please provide what elements you would like customized on your cake. See below for a design guide to help you plan. Please note this list is not definite. The final price depends on the complexity of the design, materials used, time and other factors.

Do you deliver?

Delivery is available for Edmonton and surrounding area for a fee dependent on the location. Please place your order in well in advance to guarantee delivery. Delivery times will typically be after the pickup range after 5:30PM on weekdays, with occasional availability in the afternoon (12PM-1PM). On weekends, deliveries typically occur between 12PM to 2PM. If the delivery time does not work for you we suggest delivery for the day before. Last minute delivery requests may not be accommodated.

Is there anything else I should know?

If you are unsure of the type of design you want, you can request a "freedom cake"! This gives the cake artist creative freedom on the design of the cake with minimal instruction. You are welcome to share with me the occasion, request a particular colour be included and/or the type of mood you want for the cake ("a fun celebration", "elegant", "bold", "decadent", etc.). If you like a surprise, a "freedom cake" is the best option and has been requested since the inception of TheNancyEats, now The Nancy Bakes.
