What is a treat box?

A The Nancy Bakes treat box contains a variety of delicious baked goods that you will not find on the usual The Nancy Bakes menu. The treat box was inspired by Muffin, Nancy's childhood dog, where a portion of sales will support an animal organization. This year, the treat box is dedicated to Zoe's Animal Rescue Society. The treat box is for preorder only and limited numbers are available. See The Nancy Bakes' Instagram post for flavour details.

When can I pickup or get delivery?

The following dates for pickup are as follows:

  • Thursday, Feb 8, 4pm to 6pm

  • Friday, Feb 9, 4pm to 6pm

  • Saturday, Feb 10 (Muffin's birthday), 10am-12pm

  • Sunday, Feb 11, 10am-12pm

When should I place my order?

I am accepting a limited amount of orders per date. I suggest you order yours now while you are on this page. ;) Treat boxes are for preorder only. Last year, the treat boxes sold out almost immediately. Update: we are sold out for 2024. Thank you for your support and interest.

How will I know my order is confirmed?

You will receive a confirmation email within 24-48 hours. Please note an order is not confirmed until payment is made. There will be a 24-hour window for payment after the final quote is given.

Can you accommodate an allergy?

With the number of treat boxes going out per date, The Nancy Bakes will not be able to accommodate any allergy. Thank you for understanding. Please note that the treat box contains but is not limited to, almonds, dairy, and gluten.

Where are you located?

Pick up location is southwest Edmonton, easy access via Anthony Henday and Whitemud Drive. Complete address and direction details will be provided upon payment confirmation.

What if I need to cancel my order?

Sorry, all orders are non-refundable. We suggest you gift this to a loved one if you are unable to enjoy it.

Do you deliver?

Yes, I am offering a $20 delivery flat fee special for Edmonton. Weekday deliveries are in the evening while weekend deliveries are in the early afternoon.

How do I store my treat box?

The treat box is best enjoyed the day of your pickup/delivery. Should you want to enjoy this for a couple days after, store in an air-tight container and place in the fridge. Let your treats sit out after the fridge for about 15 minutes before consuming. If you plan to enjoy it a few days later, it is best to freeze your box upon pickup/delivery.

Who is Muffin?

Muffin was Nancy's adorable shih-tzu whom cakestomers got to know through his cameos and adventures on The Nancy Bakes. He was an integral part of Nancy's family. At the age of 17--going on 18, Muffin passed away on Christmas Eve of 2020. The treat box is one of the ways Muffin's memory and inspiration lives on. You are welcome to ask to hear more of Muffin's story.

Thank you for supporting The Nancy Bakes and this initiative, going strongly into its fourth year.
